Our Disco Lunch Box with matching thermos bottle was made by the Aladdin Company in 1979. It's brand new, unused, and still with the original tag attached. Neon colors with orange trim of this lunch box are all about the 1970s. Side band says Latin Swing on one side, and Sway and Swirl on the other. If you're a baby boomer from the 1970s, then you know you jammed to Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, the Bee Gees, Village People, and others. You probably carried this cool lunch box to school as well.
Being a very special vintage lunch box, this one is not for sale. It resides in our permanent collection that's on display at our shop in Pasadena, California. It is, however, available on loan to movie studios and for movie shoots.
If you grew up in the 1970s which lunch box did you own?

Why not making a release with a similar design
I owned this lunch box too. I got emotional when I saw it. It’s about being a young girl and with my mom when it was just me and her. It’s just nostalgic for me. I didn’t even think it would be around still. When I carried mine, Strawberry Shortcake was the one to carry, but I loved mine. Glad it’s still around.
I owned it-got made fun of every day and especially when ‘disco was dead’ the teasing was merciless but I loved that lunch box -thank you for sharing-still a great item showing the feel of the time
Disco is making a comeback
I had a Holly Hobbie lunch box.
